Description
Wonderful naive folk art scene of a school classroom from the early 1900s with children seated on a bench before a chalkboard. I believe this is a print, and it bears the signature M. Ickis in the bottom right corner. The sheet is adhered to the mat by tape to the reverse and is in good condition, no tears. Dimensions with mat: 16 x 20. Dimensions of sheet 14 x 18 Marguerite Ickis was among the first group to be inducted into The Quilters Hall of Fame, during the Continental Quilting Congress in October 1979.
